Wilson Wyoming
Wilson is about 7 miles west of the town of Jackson at the eastern foot of Teton Pass. If you can’t decide between buying a home in Teton Village or the town of Jackson, then Wilson is a perfect place to house hunt and live since you’ll only be minutes from the amenities of both. Wilson is charming and has an ambiance all of its own with its variety of shops, nightlife, and restaurants.
Wilson offers a larger variety of homes to fit your needs- another reason it is so popular. On Wilson’s south side is Fish Creek Road where cabins, studios, condominiums, and gated single-family home subdivisions combine with their diverse residents. Chisler Flats in downtown Wilson, Foster Meadows, and Hardeman Ranches are hot places to buy right now with homes in a variety of prices ranging from six figures into the millions.
Take Highway 390 (Village Road) to browse through the subdivisions of Stilson Ranch, Willowbrook, and Lake Creek Acres. These are all located on the west side and Stilson is considered one of the most affordable. On the east side are the most exclusive subdivisions including Tucker Ranch, Wilderness Ranches, John Dodge, and B-Hive where the home prices start in the millions.
As plentiful as the subdivisions are the conveniences you’ll need. And a few you’ll just want to be near. Shops, supermarkets, mini marts, and more make going out easy for that grocery item you forgot for dinner. The Teton Pines Country Club is your local 18-hole golf course where you can grab a bite to eat at either Vista Grande or the Calico restaurants- both long time local favorites.
